Orbit Necklace

Each day, our moon orbits the Earth elliptically.

In the spirit of protecting our planet, I’ve made this pendant from a recycled sterling silver tray. The moon is a freshwater pearl, and the Earth is made from plique a jour enamel. This is a larger statement pendant at approx. 2w x 3l”. The total length of the necklace with chain is 24.” In spite of its larger size, this piece is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

The plique-a-jour enamel Earth lets the light through and is beautiful over lighter clothing.
